Our Organization

Protect Matunuck was founded in 2015 to advocate for repair of Mary Carpenter’s Historic Sea Wall, essential for protecting the road and buildings from ocean breach. More than 20,000 people joined together to petition for Matunuck.

What’s at Stake

In the last decade, Matunuck has flourished. Every day we see the challenges facing a coastal historic village, including environmental impact, demand for parking, and population growth. Now more than ever we need Protect Matunuck to make sure the village we love is sustained and protected.

Let’s Protect Matunuck!

Protect Matunuck is renewing and expanding its membership to preserve and protect the character, environment, and heritage of Matunuck. Join us to engage the community in public education, advocacy, community forums and hands on events like beach clean ups.
